
In this week's NOW magazine, a popular Toronto rag, I read a telling article, Stuck in version 1.0, in which our city's current state of technological affairs is, to say the least, cast in a very unflattering light. The article is very critical of nonexistent or poor Web-based infrastructures and the current deployment of Web-based services, such as OneZone, in our city.
The preamble in this report states:
Toronto's a Tweet capital and a start-up hot spot, but while the rest of the technoverse zooms ahead, our city's in a perpetual beta. Can our hardware handle an upgrade?
