The short film above showcases how the Murphy bed has figured in popular culture. When I move into the new place in March, I will be getting my own room. To make the most efficient use of that space, I have one of these beds, which I had the privilege of experiencing firsthand last year, on my wish list. Its elegant design and practicality make it a sure winner for small spaces.
On an episode of CITYLINE, the Murphy bed concept was clearly demonstrated. The video of that show appears below.
Through doing some online research, I have discovered that there is a local source here in Toronto for Murphy beds, B.O.F.F. Wall Beds. One of these days I will personally visit them and check out their showroom.
