Apple Talk: Amazing iPhone Tricks

This new addition to my blog titled Apple Talk deals with all things Apple and will appear here from time to time. In this release, I focus on things related to the iPhone.

While leafing through the June 2009 issue of Macworld, I encountered an interesting article titled: Amazing iPhone Tricks. This article covers 25 ways to unlock the secret powers of your iPhone. In this post, I'll briefly touch on three of them.

The first trick allows you to browse the contents of your iPhone and copy files to your computer through an app called PhoneView.

The second trick allows you to control your Mac remotely through an app called RemoteTap.

Finally, the third trick uses the web browser on the iPhone to navigate your Mac remotely in a Finder-like view through an app called FarFinder. You can email files to yourself or, in some cases, even view files (such as images and PDFs).

Pick up a copy of the June issue to see more of these tricks or subscribe to the digital version of Macworld.
