Recently, I joined an ADD support group called TAASG, Toronto Adult ADD Support Group, on meetup.com, a web site devoted to connecting people with all sorts of interests and passions. Since joining this group, I now receive regular emails to keep me informed about what's going on. In an email which I received today, it contained an announcement about an upcoming film about ADD. Here's a brief synopsis as documented in that email:
"A 56 minute documentary film chronicling a year in the life of two adults with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. This deeply personal film features the filmmakers's son Kail and another young man, Daniel Desjardins. Seven years after documenting their lives as children with ADD/ADHD, for her film, Odd Kid Out, O'Donnell turns the lens back to illustrate their growth as young adults. The film takes a powerful twist, surprising the filmmaker causing her to refocus her original intent."
Born in Toronto on May 4, 1962 to English and Ukranian parents, I am a typical Taurus, with a diverse and eclectic range of passions (appearing in no particular order) including jazz and classical music, astronomy, photography, cycling, the outdoors, my fox terrier (Asta), Star Trek, New York City, National Geographic magazines, and Apple computers (both new and old).
