Red Skelton Show Airs in 1951

On this day in 1951, Red Skelton, one of my favourite comedians and an accomplished painter in his own right, had his first TV show, The Red Skelton Show, air on network television. The show ran from 1951 to 1970 and featured an array of guests and unforgettable performances, including this classic blooper above featuring one of Red's most beloved characters, Clem Kadiddlehopper.
