Volunteering at TIFF 2009 Part 2

Back in mid-July I submitted my application to volunteer at TIFF, Toronto International Film Festival. A couple of weeks later, I got word that my application had been rejected because they were already swamped with people. I even tried asking a couple of friends who know people inside the festival if they could get me in, but nothing happened going down that particular avenue.
