Shortly after 7 am this morning while I was sitting with the coffee club at Java Jive, my eyes were drawn to a most unusual sight. Normally every morning people park their vehicles for a couple of minutes and pop into the coffee shop to grab a coffee and maybe a bite to eat. But this morning something quite different happened. A very large, vibrantly pink cement mixer truck parked in front of the cafe.
Why was the truck pink? Well, as you can see in the photo above, this colour was chosen because it is to help promote breast cancer awareness. There is even a web site dedicated to the pink truck.
