The above photo perfectly illustrates the fantastic fury of the storm which Toronto and its populace experienced last night. Shortly after 8.30pm a premature darkness quickly enveloped the city. Within 30 minutes the sky was filled with ominous-looking clouds, crashing thunder and spectacular displays of lightning. Strong gusts of wind and torrential rain soon followed suit.
