Northbound Leather Adventure

Since I wasn't scheduled to work until 12 noon today, I decided to take the opportunity to visit Northbound Leather, a specialty shop famous in Toronto for its leather clothing and accessories, and finally got the leather pants, which I had inherited several weeks earlier, hemmed. To make certain that the pants fitted properly, I brought a pair of ankle-high boots with me.

My experience at the store was pleasant, professional and quick. After putting on the pants and boots, the female sales clerk took the necessary measurements. Once I had changed back into my street clothes, she went upstairs with the pants. While waiting, I took the brief time that I had to browse. As I did, another member of the sales staff appeared on the floor. Clad in a tight, white T-shirt and black leather pants, his arms adorned with intricately inked tattoos and wearing ear stretchers, this Asian beauty immediately caught my attention and held it for the rest of the time that I was there. He asked me if I needed help. I politely said no, but thanked him just the same. Less than 10 minutes later, she was back with the hemmed pants.
